Hello! My name is Angie Werth. I graduated from UW-Madison Physical Therapy program and have been a physical therapist for 29 years with most of my experience in home health acute care and skilled nursing settings. On 1/1/2022, I opened up my own private practice out of my home. I do provide private pay in-home physical therapy and
private yin or gentle yoga classes. I received my 200 hour yoga training at The Studio up in Madison, Wisconsin in 2019. Recently, I was given the opportunity to get certified in performing Myofascial release treatments through John F. Barnes, the PT and founder of this technique. Myofascial release treatments focus on relieving pressure on the fascia and painful sensitive points in the muscles that could be triggered by physical or emotional traumas, repetitive stresses, faulty postures over time and scarring from surgery. Fascia is a thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve, fiber, and muscle in place.  Many therapists seek training in Myofascial release as it can help treat several ailments including, but not limited to, sciatica, low back/neck pain, arthritic
joint pain, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel, plantar
fasciitis, frozen shoulder, headaches/migraines and
temporal mandibular joint dysfunction.
