Trish Little is a yoga teacher, Reiki Master Teacher, certified sound and vibrational practitioner and Louisiana Licensed Massage Therapist (LA3125) who has taught yoga in the Baton Rouge area for more than a decade. She brings over 20 years of bodywork experience to her teaching, with a focus on myofascial release in the John Barnes method, and a keen interest in how the fascia system relates to movement and comfort in the body. Her guiding phrase is "yoga designed for the body you have." Registered with Yoga Alliance at the experienced 500-hour level, Trish teaches Hatha yoga rooted in the Ashtanga method, adapted so that students of every shape, age and ability can practice. Her continuing education centers on accessibility, including certifications in Curvy Yoga, Yoga for All, Accessible Yoga (where she serves as an Accessible Yoga Ambassador) and Dementia Yoga. She has led and co-led 200-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings in small, in-person cohorts of six, and is developing a 300-hour curriculum. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui tradition and uses crystal singing bowls and other instruments in sound and vibrational sessions. Trish offers private yoga lessons for individuals and small groups, corporate classes, in-person and distance Reiki (including Reiki for pets) and sound bath experiences, with small-group sessions held in her Mid City Yoga Cabana. With fellow practitioner Tanya Gauthier, she co-hosts Retreat With Me & T, offering floating pool sound baths, restorative yoga sound baths and intimate women's retreats in the North Georgia mountains. Massage therapy is available by referral only. Sessions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday and can be arranged by email.
