What we collect, how we use it, and the promises we keep. Last updated October 13, 2026.
1. Who we are & what Wellyoh is
Wellyoh ("Wellyoh," "we," "us") is operated by Wellyoh LLC. Wellyoh is a self-reported information directory for discovering wellness providers and resources. We do not vet, verify, endorse, or guarantee any provider or the accuracy of any listing. This policy explains how we handle information for both people who search (members) and people who are listed (providers).
By creating an account or using Wellyoh, you acknowledge you have read this policy and our Terms & Disclosures, and you consent to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
Account information you give us, your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure one-way hash we cannot read), and account type.
Provider listing information, the business/practice details a provider enters or that are compiled from public records (e.g., public NPI data). Listing content is intended to be shown publicly.
Reviews you submit (star ratings), tied to your account.
Usage information, basic technical data such as your IP address, device/browser type, and pages viewed, plus the search terms and the general location (for example a ZIP code or state) entered when searching. We keep search data in anonymous, aggregate form, not tied to your name, to understand what people are looking for and to improve the directory. Any insight shown to providers is limited to aggregate, area-level trends (for example, the most-searched terms in a provider's state or ZIP area) and interest in a provider's own listing, never any individual person's identity or search history.
Payment information, if you subscribe or advertise, payments are handled by our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
3. How we use information
To operate the directory, show listings, and power search and dashboards.
To create and secure your account and prevent fraud or abuse.
To communicate with you, service messages, referral and renewal notices, and updates you can opt out of.
To process payments and manage subscriptions or advertisements.
To improve Wellyoh and keep it safe and reliable.
4. What is public, and what is private
Provider listing details are public by design, a provider's business name, category, and the public contact details they choose to share are visible to anyone. Only the fields a provider marks or enters as public are shown; private account details (such as a login email or fax) are never published.
For members (people who search and review), your identity is private. We do not publish your name, email, or contact information, and we do not reveal who left a rating.
Listings from public records. Some provider listings are compiled from public records, including the federal NPPES/NPI registry, and are shown without requiring the provider's authorization, the same way other established provider directories do. If you are a listed provider and want your listing corrected or removed, use our contact form (note "Listing removal"); we act on verified removal requests within ten (10) business days and suppress the underlying public identifier so a later data refresh does not recreate the listing. See our Terms & Disclosures, Section 3, for the full details.
5. When we share information, and when we don't
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
With service providers who help us run Wellyoh (e.g., hosting, email delivery, payment processing), under obligations to protect it and use it only for us.
To comply with the law, in response to a lawful, valid legal request (such as a subpoena or court order), or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Wellyoh, our users, or the public.
In connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), subject to this policy.
Publicly, only the provider listing information described above.
We do not share a member's identifying information with providers or third parties for marketing, and never outside a lawful, legal request.
6. Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to keep the site secure, and limited analytics to understand how Wellyoh is used and to show providers aggregate interest in their listings. Usage data is stored in a de-identified form (for example, visitor identifiers are hashed rather than stored as raw addresses).
We also keep an anonymized, aggregate log of search terms and general location (ZIP or state), with no name or IP address attached, to understand demand, improve Wellyoh, and share area-level trends with providers (such as a periodic summary of the most-searched terms in their area). Separately, we keep a short-term technical log for security and abuse-prevention that can include an IP address; that identifiable log is automatically deleted on a regular schedule.
7. How we protect information
Passwords are stored only as strong one-way hashes, we cannot see or recover them; they can only be reset. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.
8. Data retention
We keep account and listing information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide Wellyoh, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may ask us to close your account and remove your personal information, subject to records we must keep.
9. Your choices & rights
Access & correction, you can view and update most account and listing information from your dashboard.
Deletion, you can ask us to close your account and delete your personal information.
Email preferences, non-essential emails include an unsubscribe link; essential service messages (billing, security) may still be sent.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information; contact us to exercise them.
10. Children
Wellyoh is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Wellyoh develops. We will change the "last updated" date above, and significant changes may be highlighted. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
