Mariah Woody, OTR/L, CST-T, is the owner of Unwinding Therapies in Greenville, South Carolina. She earned her occupational therapy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2012 and has worked with clients from newborns to adults in hospital, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient settings. She began practicing craniosacral therapy in 2014 and has advanced training through the Upledger Institute, with additional coursework from the Chikly and Barral Institutes. Her blended approach draws on visceral, brain, lymphatic, neuromeningeal, somato-emotional and fascial techniques, and she has particular experience with infants dealing with torticollis, plagiocephaly and tethered oral tissues, often working alongside other professionals. The practice offers one-on-one sessions for any age, co-treatments and mom-and-baby sessions with two therapists, consults, and home visits for newborns in their first month. Infant education covers developmental activities such as tummy time, milestones, feeding and sensory processing. The practice also offers mentoring for other therapists.
