About
Spa Bolton is a thermotherapy spa on the North Missisquoi River in Bolton-Est, in Quebec's Eastern Townships. Since 2001 it has offered access to the river's waterfall and pool along with outdoor hot tubs, saunas and massage therapy in all seasons, on the site of the former J.C. Willard sawmill built in 1860. Facilities include a wood-fired dry sauna, electric dry saunas with river views, a eucalyptus steam bath, two cold plunge baths, three hot baths, a pool heated year-round, a wood-heated relaxation yurt, a relaxation building with a panoramic terrace, and hammocks and loungers along the river. The spa was founded by Claude Provost Jr. in memory of his father, Montreal Canadiens player Claude Provost. Services include Swedish, Californian, lymphatic drainage, reflexology, pregnancy and specialized massages, plus facials and body treatments using Ella Baché products. Packages, gift certificates and memberships are available.
