SkyLight Body Therapy is the downtown Chicago practice of Ray Williams, LMT, a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner with a suite on West Washington Street in the Loop. Ray graduated from the massage program at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, has studied Asian bodywork and Chinese medicine for more than a decade, and has been licensed for about 14 years. The work focuses on chronic pain and trigger points, with clients coming in for concerns such as stress, TMJ, back pain, headaches and recovery after surgery. Sessions draw on Tui Na, trigger point therapy, circulatory massage, Thai massage stretches, deep tissue and sports work, with cupping, aromatherapy and CBD application available as add-ons. Prenatal massage is offered, and Ray also travels to clients in the Chicago area for mobile and chair massage. Ray runs a mentorship program for massage therapists called Light Center. Appointments are available Tuesday through Sunday.
