Sarah Cummins, C-IAYT, is a somatic yoga therapist in Huntsville, AL, and the founder of Waterfall Yoga Therapy. She is also a certified Pain Care Yoga Instructor, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Senior Fitness Specialist and Brain Health Trainer, is Yoga Warrior trained to work with PTSD, traumatic brain injury and amputees, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Maryland. She has worked with clients since 2014 and turned to yoga therapy after her own experience with chronic pain. Waterfall Yoga Therapy designs individualized plans that combine somatic yoga therapy, pain science education and pain reprocessing for people with back pain, chronic illness, hypermobility, inflammation, injury or surgery recovery, menopause, pelvic disorders, anxiety, grief, post-traumatic stress and sleep issues. Private sessions are offered at a Southeast Huntsville location in Jones Valley, a Northeast Huntsville studio on 20 acres of natural space, and by telehealth. Multi-session programs are FSA/HSA eligible. She also leads workshops, retreats and continuing education for yoga teachers as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP).
