Robert B. Bates, DC, MMQ, is a chiropractor and teacher of healing practices based in Bellingham, Washington. He graduated from Southern California College of Chiropractic in 1990 and has practiced in Washington since 1992. He earned a Master of Medical Qigong certificate in 2001 and has taught Qigong since 1997. As of 2024 he had taken, assisted or apprenticed in 88 Chikly Health Institute seminars across the Lymph Drainage Therapy, Brain Therapy and Heart Centered Therapy curricula. He teaches Lymph Drainage Therapy 1 and Fluid Articular Release (Upper and Lower) for the Chikly Health Institute. His other training includes CranioSacral Therapy, Self Healing Qigong, Medical Qigong and Taiji. He also teaches Medical Qigong at Middle Way Acupuncture Institute and co-teaches Dayan Wild Goose Qigong classes in Bellingham. Sessions are by appointment.
