Reena Sehgal, MPT, is the physical therapist behind Pranav Physical Therapy and Pilates in Edison, NJ. She earned a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware in 2002 and has more than 22 years of orthopedic outpatient experience, working closely with orthopedic surgeons and post-surgical patients. She is a certified Pilates teacher through Power Pilates comprehensive equipment training and has completed yoga teacher training for adults and kids (Evolation Yoga and Rainbow Kids Yoga). Her continuing education includes Herman & Wallace Pelvic Floor Level 1 (female pelvic floor function, dysfunction and treatment) and Level 2A (colorectal pelvic health), Pilates for Pregnancy and Beyond, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder), the full McKenzie MDT series, Mulligan Concept, Graston and Kinesiotaping. Each physical therapy session is an hour of one-on-one time and may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, gait training and therapeutic Pilates-based rehabilitation. Conditions treated include neck and back pain, osteoporosis, sports injuries, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, joint replacements, and prenatal and postnatal rehabilitation. The practice participates with most insurances and networks and also offers telehealth, private Pilates equipment lessons and yoga.
