About

Palm House Recovery Centers, Inc. is a nonprofit (501(c)(3)) men's recovery residence in Athens, Georgia, offering a monitored, peer-based "social model" sober-living program for men recovering from alcohol and/or other drug use. Community-based homes are supervised by senior residents, house coordinators, and staff, with residents monitored 24/7 and structure maintained through house rules, curfews, and daily responsibilities. The 12-month program emphasizes abstinence, employment (residents work 30–40 hours a week), life skills, connection, and accountability — with required 12-step meetings, on-site AA/NA and Celebrate Recovery meetings, twice-weekly house meetings, relapse-prevention and financial-planning classes, and regular drug/alcohol screening. Palm House works closely with courts, probation, and parole as part of its re-entry focus. Men only. Nonprofit, peer-based (non-clinical). Certifications: THOR (Transitional Housing for Offender Reentry), GARR (Georgia Association of Recovery Residences — Certified Member), and RPH (Re-Entry Partnership Housing). Office hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; residents are monitored by staff 24/7.
