Lauren Sutton is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Centennial College in 2004 and began her lymphatic work in 2007. In 2012 she completed Complex Decongestive Therapy and lymphedema training with the Chikly Health Institute, and she has focused on supporting cancer survivors since then. She has lived and worked in the Aurora and Newmarket area since 2012. Her Chikly training includes Lymph Drainage Therapy (LDT1-3), lymphatic applications to the viscera and the abdominal-pelvic region, lymph-fascia and primo-vascular work, the lymphedema certification course, Fascial and Reflex work, the chronic fatigue/fibromyalgia program, and Brain Therapy (B1-B4, neuro-embryological release of ligaments). She has also trained in craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation and neural manipulation. Lauren is an Ontario Assistive Device Program (ADP) authorizer and a certified Sigvaris compression garment fitter. Out of the Woods Wellness Centre focuses on people who have been through cancer treatment. It offers osteopathy, lymphatic drainage, lymphedema care with bandaging and compression, and dietitian services.
