Dr. Niki Popper is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with more than 15 years of experience in pelvic health. She first worked as a certified Pilates instructor and wellness coordinator at a PT clinic, earned her BA in psychology from the University of Denver (2004) and received her DPT from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2013, where she received the Mary Gosnell Award for Clinical Excellence. She opened Popper PT in August 2020 within the multidisciplinary Fertile Ground Wellness Center. Her post-doctoral training has focused on prenatal and postpartum care, with advanced training in pelvic floor, bowel and bladder dysfunction, prolapse, pessary use, pelvic pain (including vulvar conditions and neuralgias), sexual health, complex chronic pain, spine pathology, TMJ and pain science, and advanced dry needling certifications for the whole body, pelvic floor and TMJ. She is the pelvic health patient educator for HCA HealthONE hospitals and teaches at Rose Hospital in Denver. Appointments are one-on-one, 60-90 minutes, with the same DPT each visit, in office or by telehealth. Treatments can include manual therapy, scar mobilization, internal assessment and treatment with consent, dry needling, lactation-related care for clogged ducts, Pilates-based exercise and labor preparation. Popper PT is out of network with all insurance; payment is by credit card or HSA at time of service, and superbills are provided.
