Nelumbo Healing Arts & Integrative Therapy is a by-appointment practice in Century Suites in Woburn, run by Sarah Sindoni. Sarah has been a licensed massage therapist for more than 10 years and is a certified medical massage practitioner, craniosacral therapist, certified manual lymphatic drainage practitioner and certified aromatherapist, with ongoing study through the Upledger and Barral Institutes. Manual lymphatic drainage uses the Vodder technique and is often chosen before and after surgery and for swelling and lymphedema. Craniosacral therapy uses light touch for neck and back pain, fibromyalgia, TMJ, headaches, migraines, stress and poor sleep. Medical massage treats a specific area and is guided by a diagnosis from a doctor, chiropractor or physical therapist. Integrative sessions blend deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point work, assisted stretching, neuromuscular cupping, neural manipulation, scar mobilization, hot stones and herbal and aromatherapy blends. Gift certificates are available.
