Nancy Gaillard, PT, DPT, founded Nest Physical Therapy in Bedford, New Hampshire to help mothers through pregnancy, childbirth and beyond. Nancy has over 20 years of clinical experience with orthopedic and neurologic conditions, holds master's and doctorate degrees in physical therapy, and served as a physical therapist in the US Army Reserve. The practice focuses on prenatal and postpartum care, including pelvic floor therapy for urinary incontinence, painful intercourse, pelvic organ prolapse, coccydynia, pubic symphysis separation and diastasis recti, cesarean recovery and scar management, prenatal conditioning and basic childbirth education, postpartum return to sport, ergonomics, and related issues such as mastitis or neck pain. Nancy has training in pelvic floor therapy, lymphatic massage, aquatic therapy, Graston technique and myofascial release, and treatment may include exercise, manual therapy, taping and dry needling. Nest welcomes LGBTQ+ clients and considers needs outside its focus case by case. Sessions are offered in the clinic within the Bedford Commons office complex, in clients' homes around the greater Manchester area, or as 30-minute virtual visits. Nest is a direct-pay practice without insurance contracts; superbills are provided, HSA/FSA cards are accepted, no physician referral is needed, and current and former military receive a 10% discount.
