Dr. Kelsey Dyer, PT, DPT, PRPC, runs Connect Core Physical Therapy, a one-on-one pelvic health and orthopedic practice based inside Reformed Pilates Studio in Sylvania and serving Northwest Ohio, including Toledo, Maumee and Perrysburg. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University and has nearly 10 years of experience with orthopedic and pelvic health patients. Kelsey is a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certified (PRPC) through Herman & Wallace and is working toward national Pilates certification. She treats urinary leakage and urgency, pelvic pain and pressure, pain with intercourse and difficulty with orgasm, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, birth preparation, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, constipation and bowel incontinence, pelvic floor tension or weakness, scar tissue and perimenopause and menopause changes, along with neck, back, hip, SI joint and tailbone pain. Care combines hands-on treatment, movement, education and home programs; internal assessment is always optional. Techniques include myofascial release, vacuum cupping, joint mobilization and therapeutic taping. Connect Core is private-pay and does not bill insurance; superbills are available for possible out-of-network reimbursement and HSA/FSA may be used. The practice does not accept Medicare patients for covered PT services. No referral is needed in Ohio.
