Dr. Katie Sasser, PT, DPT, M.Ed., Cert. DN, is a pelvic floor physical therapist and the Clinic Director of Physio Room's Highlands Ranch location, with more than a decade of experience. She holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri and a Master's in Education focused on Positive Coaching and Athletic Leadership. She specializes in pelvic floor therapy for women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause and everything in between, including leaking, prolapse, painful intimacy, and core and hip dysfunction. Physio Room's pelvic program also covers vaginismus, interstitial cystitis, chronic pelvic pain, gender-affirming care, urinary urgency and frequency, fecal incontinence, constipation, frequent UTIs, fertility and birth preparation, diastasis recti, tailbone and SI joint pain, bone health and care for female athletes. Her certifications include dry needling, Titleist Performance Institute Medical Level 2, Barbell Rehab and ICE Clinician. Sessions are a full hour, one-on-one with the physical therapist. First visits include a whole-body movement assessment and, only with consent, an optional internal exam. Physio Room is in-network with Medicare and Tricare and otherwise works out-of-network, helping patients use out-of-network benefits; payment plans are available. The practice also offers personal training, massage therapy, sports recovery and remote coaching.
