About
Irvington Wellness Center is a community-focused wellness studio in downtown Irvington on the east side of Indianapolis, serving the neighborhood for over 15 years. Owner Laura Lea Sweney has been a manual therapist for over 30 years and a Zero Balancing practitioner for 15 years. Bodywork offerings include Zero Balancing (the center's flagship modality), craniosacral therapy, manual brain therapy based on the work of Bruno Chikly, lymphatic massage, deep tissue, prenatal, hot stone and Swedish massage. The team also includes massage therapists Teresa Hermosillo and Lorin Purifoy. The studio runs yoga (Hatha, chair, vinyasa, yin, slow flow, Broga, yoga nidra), tai chi and qigong, breathwork, BrainTap sessions, special events and corporate yoga, and hosts community events and a Neighborhood Fund.
