About
Dr. Erin Chapman, PT, DPT provides mobile, concierge physical therapy at a patient's home, office or other location, serving Fluvanna County, Albemarle County and surrounding areas from Palmyra, Virginia. She earned a BS in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. Her services include treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, including pelvic pain and incontinence, along with joint and muscle pain, tension headaches, jaw pain, balance and fall risk, posture, ergonomics, and vertigo and vestibular disorders. Her continuing education has focused on trigger point dry needling, women's health, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Treatment combines hands-on care (trigger point dry needling, myofascial release, visceral and joint mobilization, kinesiotaping), an individualized exercise program, and postural retraining. She is out of network with all insurance; superbills are available on request and HSA/FSA can be used. Medicare patients can be seen only for services considered not medically necessary.
