Dr. Emily Caraglio, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist at Evolve Physical Therapy of Rochester in Pittsford, NY. She earned her bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in physical therapy from Ithaca College and has practiced since 2007, working in inpatient and skilled nursing rehab, acute care and neurologic rehabilitation before focusing on pelvic health. She has continued her pelvic health training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Her interest in pelvic physical therapy comes from her own experience as a patient after childbirth. She works with pregnant and postpartum patients as well as people with pelvic floor dysfunction who have not given birth, and aims to make her treatment room a safe space. Evolve offers one-on-one care for adults and children, including incontinence rehabilitation, pelvic pain, prenatal and postpartum care, pediatric pelvic health, post-surgical care, gender-affirming surgery rehabilitation, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction and orthopedic rehab. The clinic accepts Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, MVP, Independent Health, Medicare, UnitedHealthcare and Aetna, and self-pay is available.
