Dr. Chelsea Lynch, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist and pelvic rehabilitation specialist and co-owner of Ponderosa Physical Therapy in Grass Valley, CA, with Dr. Peter Lynch, PT, DPT. She went to physical therapy school to help people with bowel, bladder and sexual issues, earned her doctorate from Northern Arizona University in 2011, and then moved to Grass Valley to practice. She works with men and women of all ages on orthopedic and pelvic conditions, including incontinence, prolapse and pelvic pain, and has extensive training in Pilates-based physical therapy. She uses education, exercise and manual therapy, and mentors the clinic's pelvic physical therapists; the clinic now has four pelvic PTs on staff. She also leads a group Pilates circuit class at the clinic. Ponderosa Physical Therapy offers pelvic, Pilates and orthopedic physical therapy for women, men and children, plus pessary fittings, lymphedema care, oncology rehabilitation and group fitness classes, and describes itself as a safe and inclusive space.
