Catherine Sink, PT, DPT, is the physical therapist behind Knob Creek Physical Therapy in Johnson City, Tennessee, serving the Tri-Cities area. Her practice blends hands-on orthopedic manual therapy with pelvic floor treatment. She sees women for urinary incontinence and urgency, fecal incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, painful intercourse, vulvar pain, pudendal neuralgia, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, diastasis recti and prenatal and postnatal concerns, as well as general orthopedic conditions from neck and jaw pain to ankle and foot pain. Treatment can include soft tissue work, joint mobilization, trigger point release, myofascial cupping, taping, therapeutic exercise and education, plus labor preparation and a postpartum return-to-run/exercise program. Knob Creek is a cash-based, out-of-network practice. Patients pay at the time of service and receive an itemized bill to submit to insurance; HSA may be used. Tennessee allows direct access without a physician referral. Sessions are one-on-one and about an hour.
