After more than eight years in orthopedics, Cara added pelvic health training, including 100 hours of one-on-one mentorship and 120 hours of pelvic health continuing education, with experience in outpatient orthopedic, specialty pelvic health and skilled nursing settings. The practice treats urinary incontinence, urgency and frequency, nighttime urination, difficulty emptying the bladder, recurrent UTI-like symptoms, fecal incontinence, painful bowel movements, constipation and hemorrhoids, pain with intercourse, arousal or orgasm, erectile dysfunction, and pelvic region pain including tailbone, vulvar, penile, testicular and suprapubic pain. Post-operative care covers C-section, hysterectomy, gender-affirming surgery, abdominal surgery, vasectomy, prostatectomy and hernia repair. It also offers prenatal and postpartum care, menopause support, and prolapse care with pessary fitting. Treatment methods include internal pelvic floor manual therapy (always with full consent), dry needling, joint mobilization, instrument-assisted myofascial release, cupping and kinesiotaping, combined with education and exercise. New patients can usually be scheduled within the same week, and a 20-minute initial consultation can be booked online.
