About
Cameron Wallace, R.Ac., is a registered acupuncturist who sees patients at Woodgrove Pines Clinic on Metral Drive in north Nanaimo, British Columbia, and serves Nanaimo and nearby Vancouver Island communities. In practice since 2012 and trained at Reeves College in Edmonton, he builds each visit around more than one technique, moving between needling, Sports Gua Sha, cupping and Tui Na massage as a person's injury calls for. His acupuncture work spans Traditional Chinese Medicine point selection, musculoskeletal and neuro approaches, IMS and dry needling, and electrical acupuncture. Common reasons people book include back and neck pain, headaches, sciatica, shoulder, hip and knee problems, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, TMJ, Bell's palsy and sports injuries. Car accident recovery is a particular focus, shaped by Cameron's own serious collision in 2016. He treats whiplash, concussion symptoms, soft tissue strains and related pain, and direct bills ICBC and DVA. His site notes that ICBC pre-approves up to 12 treatments in the first 12 weeks with no doctor referral, and that care beyond that window may be arranged through your adjuster. Cameron designed the Sports Gua Sha Multi-Tool, teaches practitioner courses, and runs short self-treatment workshops on using gua sha and cupping tools at home. To book, call the clinic and ask for Cameron, or send a request online.
