Dr. Caitlin Whitaker is a physical therapist and pelvic floor specialist at Arizona Performance Institute (AZPI), a physical therapy and sports performance clinic in East Mesa serving Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek and San Tan Valley. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2019 after a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. She began her career in an orthopedic clinic treating musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries, where working with many pregnant and postpartum patients led her to pursue advanced training in pelvic floor dysfunction. She now cares for adults of all genders with urinary and bowel concerns, sexual dysfunction and pelvic pain, alongside orthopedic and pregnancy and postpartum care. At AZPI, treatment is one-on-one with the therapist for most of the visit, without techs or aides. The clinic is in-network with most major insurance plans, including Medicare, and also offers cash-pay rates. Arizona is a direct access state, so a referral is not required by the clinic.
