Body Therapeutics, LLC is a manual therapy and bodywork practice in Fort Lee, New Jersey, run by Catherine Perman Andrade, a licensed massage and bodywork therapist (LMBT) and certified manual lymphatic drainage therapist (CMLDT). Sessions are tailored to each client and combine several hands-on approaches, including CranioSacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release, manual lymphatic drainage, visceral manipulation, Total Body Balancing, brain balancing, myofascial trigger point work and Reiki, as well as Swedish, sports, deep tissue and aromatherapy massage. A former opera singer, Catherine began studying CranioSacral Therapy after years as a client herself. Her training includes Upledger Institute CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release courses, where she has also served as a teaching assistant for CST1 and CST2. She also trained in manual lymph drainage certification with the MLD Institute, visceral manipulation and Total Body Balancing with the Barral Institute, and brain balancing and lymphatic drainage with the Chikly Health Institute. She has written about CranioSacral Therapy and brain reflexes for Natural Awakenings North NJ and is a member of ABMP. Clients can see her in Fort Lee or book an in-home visit. Appointments are arranged by phone or email.
