Blue Circle Art Therapy is an art therapy practice in an accessible studio in North Minneapolis. Founder Amzie Reeves has lived with Type 1 diabetes for over 20 years. The practice specializes in the mental health side of T1D and other chronic illness, and it also serves the general public. It offers individual, couples/family and group art therapy, plus planned T1D-specific groups for kids, teens and adults. Its four clinicians include two art therapists, an LPCC and a LICSW. Private pay: Intake Sessions are $225; Individual and Relational Sessions (53 min) are $175; Pre-licensed therapists $120 / session; Licensed therapists $175 / session. Sliding scale is $80-$120/session. HSA/FSA accepted. Groups: $40 per session; PWYC (pay what you can); Private Pay ONLY / insurance NOT accepted for groups.
