Dr. Isabella (Bella) Benjamin, PT, DPT, OCS, is an Arizona native and the physical therapist behind Bella Benjamin Physical Therapy in Central Phoenix. She earned a bachelor's in Physiology from the University of Arizona in 2016 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University in 2020, became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist in 2023, and is an ICE Certified Specialist: Fitness Athlete (2024). She has a special interest in perinatal and postpartum care and offers inclusive care to all people. Her pelvic floor work covers birth preparation, postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, urinary and bowel issues such as incontinence, urgency and constipation, sexual dysfunction including vaginismus, pre- and post-surgical rehab for hysterectomy, C-section or abdominal hernia repair, and core integration. She also treats orthopedic conditions, supports older adults with balance and mobility, and offers strength training. Internal exams are optional and only done when the patient is ready. Her continuing education includes Herman & Wallace, the Institute for Birth Healing, the Postural Restoration Institute, the Institute of Clinical Excellence and the Institute of Physical Art. Sessions are one-on-one in a private treatment room with a full gym, located in a gated neighborhood; the exact address is shared once an appointment is confirmed. She is an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance. Payment is collected at each session, and an invoice is provided for patients who want to submit a superbill.
