Barbara G. Green, PT, MS leads Barbara Green Physical Therapy, a pelvic floor and orthopedic practice in Charlotte, North Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and her master's in physical therapy from Duke University in 1984, and has practiced for over 40 years. She first focused on musculoskeletal conditions such as back, shoulder and neck pain, SI joint dysfunction and TMJ, and added pelvic floor dysfunction in 1999. The practice works with women and men. For women it treats vaginismus, vulvodynia and vestibulodynia, painful penetration and orgasm, abdominal and pubic bone pain, painful bladder syndrome/interstitial cystitis, urinary and fecal incontinence, levator ani syndrome, rectal pain, pelvic organ prolapse, coccyx pain, and pre- and postpartum concerns. For men it treats post-prostatectomy incontinence, urinary frequency and hesitancy, male pelvic pain including hard flaccid, ejaculatory pain and post-vasectomy pain, and bowel and bladder dysfunction. Methods include manual therapy, dry needling, biofeedback and education. The practice also includes Beth S. Goldman, PT, MS. It is a fee-for-service practice that does not bill insurance; a superbill is provided for out-of-network reimbursement, and credit and debit cards, Zelle, checks and HSA cards are accepted.
