Amy Vander Linden is a physical therapist with more than 25 years of experience and the founder of Moment of Truth Physical Therapy in Peoria, serving the West Valley. She works with women and men on pelvic pain, bladder and bowel dysfunction, painful intercourse, core dysfunction, sexual wellness, and the transitions of perimenopause and menopause, with a particular focus on pregnancy and postpartum recovery. She also treats babies for concerns such as torticollis, lip and tongue ties and digestive issues. Her approach combines evidence-based care with a whole-body view of healing. She is trained in the John F. Barnes approach to Myofascial Release and uses visceral manipulation and trauma-informed care. Each one-on-one session starts with a full body assessment and includes a home program; patients are not handed off to an assistant or left on a machine. In 2020 the practice expanded into The Healing Space Yoga Studio, which offers yoga, massage and wellness services under the same roof. Amy is also an educator, speaker and podcast host on pelvic health and fascia. The clinic is not contracted with insurance companies. It accepts cash, check, credit cards and HSA/FSA cards and provides invoices with codes for possible out-of-network reimbursement (this does not apply to Medicare). New patients can start with a $49 discovery visit. Arizona is a direct access state, so no referral is needed.
