About
Karen M. Diefenbach runs Alternative Health Inquiries, a private practice by appointment in a wooded setting about half a mile from Centre Bridge in New Hope, Pennsylvania. Karen graduated from the Swedish Institute in Manhattan in 1993, holds a B.S. in Human Development, and has more than 190 hours of craniosacral training through the Upledger Institute. Yoga training came through the Integral Yoga Institute in New York City, and Karen also holds homeopathic certification and is a certified coach. Massage work ranges from therapeutic and deep tissue sessions to medical massage, trigger point work, shiatsu, reflexology and prenatal massage. New craniosacral clients usually begin with a 10-step protocol that covers the whole body in one session. Karen also teaches private yoga in a ground-floor studio, including hatha, yin, restorative and arthritis-focused sessions with props or a chair, and offers holistic life coaching and a six-week mindfulness course. Coaching is available by phone or in person. Appointments are made by phone or email.
