Aligned Wellness is the Edmonton practice of Jordan Belanger, a Registered Massage Therapist, Manual Osteopathic Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist. He graduated with honours with distinction from both the Alberta College of Massage Therapy and the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada, where he now teaches Advanced Myofascial Remodelling, Craniosacral Osteopathy and Manual Lymphatic Therapy. Dedicated paediatric craniosacral and paediatric manual osteopathic sessions are offered for children up to age 12, along with prenatal and biodynamic craniosacral sessions. Jordan has a particular interest in working with people affected by fibromyalgia, motor vehicle accident injuries, concussion or head trauma, and sports injuries, an interest shaped by his own experience with concussions. His post-graduate training includes Chikly Institute Lymph Drainage Therapy levels 1 to 3 and advanced coursework, Upledger Institute CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release, and Barral Institute Visceral and Neural Manipulation. He sees clients at two Edmonton locations, the iava Wellness clinic on 50 Street NW and a home clinic in southwest Edmonton, and offers direct billing to most major extended health benefit plans for manual osteopathic therapy and massage treatments on request.
