Dr. Ali Schermer, PT, DPT, PCES, is a pelvic floor physical therapist and the owner of The 417 Female, serving the Springfield, Missouri area from Ozark. She is trained through the APTA Academy of Pelvic Health and earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise and Movement Science and her Doctor of Physical Therapy (2018) at Missouri State University. She became a PAI-certified Pilates instructor in 2025 and co-owns Rooted Pilates, an extension of the clinic. She works with women on pelvic floor dysfunction, including bowel dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain, leakage during pregnancy, pelvic organ prolapse and postpartum healing. Her own experience with these issues shapes her teaching that such problems are common but not normal. The 417 Female is cash-based and does not take insurance. Sessions run 60 minutes, one-on-one. Superbills are provided on request and HSA/FSA funds can be used. In Missouri, no order is needed for the first 30 days of care.
