Hi there! My name is Kayla and I was born and raised here in Acadiana! I have a passion for helping individuals discover who they are and who they want to be while healing places of brokenness and gaining the ability to live an authentic life. I understand that opening up to someone new about your story may be quite intimidating. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel accepted, fully seen, and fully heard. I have experience working with adolescents who struggle with significant mental and behavioral health challenges. I have also worked with adolescents and their parent(s) in learning new tools to improve family dynamics and cohesion. I enjoy incorporating creative approaches, such as: art, music, imagery, movement and nature. I always take each client’s uniqueness into consideration to create an effective, individualized treatment plan. My hope is that you are able to become empowered in your personal strengths as you begin to show the beauty of your most authentic self in this challenging world.
