About this event
Austin's Walk to End Alzheimer's takes over the grounds of Circuit of The Americas for a morning dedicated to ending Alzheimer's disease. The site opens at 8:00 AM, followed by an opening ceremony at 9:00 AM and the walk at 9:30 AM. Presented by the Alzheimer's Association, this is part of the largest nationwide movement to raise awareness and funds for dementia care, support, and research. Participants walk in honor of those living with Alzheimer's and in memory of loved ones lost, taking part in the signature Promise Garden ceremony where colored flowers symbolize each walker's personal connection to the cause. Registration is free and open to all ages; walkers are encouraged to fundraise, with a Walk T-shirt for those who raise at least $100. The event also connects attendees with the Alzheimer's Association's free programs, support groups, and around-the-clock Helpline. Expect a supportive, family-friendly atmosphere.
