About this event
The Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America hosts a free Community Health Fair in the Texas Medical Center, held in partnership with Houston Methodist. Running from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Houston Methodist Research Institute, the event is open to patients, caregivers, families, and anyone interested in learning about myasthenia gravis and general wellness. Attendees can hear from and talk directly with medical professionals, attend educational presentations by MG experts, and access wellness and educational resources. It is also a chance to connect with others in the MG community and reduce the isolation that can come with a rare neuromuscular condition. Visitors can browse exhibitor tables offering health information and services. The fair is free to attend and free parking is available, though validation may be required. This is part of MGFA's ongoing initiative to provide accessible, no-cost educational programming to the community.
