Phoenix Turkey Trot 5K

The Phoenix Turkey Trot is a festive Thanksgiving-morning race through the heart of downtown Phoenix, welcoming participants of all ages and fitness levels to run, jog or walk before the holiday feast. The 5K starts at 8:40 AM from the north parking lot of Wesley Bolin Plaza, with scenic downtown routes and no out-and-backs. The event also offers longer distances and family-friendly options including a tot trot for the littlest participants and a one-mile gobble dash for those who want a shorter outing. Special medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers across 16 age groups, and race day includes bib pickup for pre-registered athletes, race-day registration, an awards tent and post-race snacks. With a lively, welcoming atmosphere and a downtown backdrop, it is a healthy, upbeat way for families and friends to begin Thanksgiving together. Registration is required and carries a fee that varies by distance.
