Stella Mann North Neighborhood Tree Planting

The Stella Mann North Neighborhood Tree Planting on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. (meeting near 3250 S Jessica Ave, Tucson) invites community volunteers to plant desert-adapted shade trees that cool the neighborhood, clean the air, and beautify public space. Organized by Tucson Clean & Beautiful, this hands-on morning is part of the group's ongoing neighborhood urban-forestry program. Volunteers dig, plant, mulch, and water with staff guidance, and all tools are provided, so newcomers are welcome. The event is free, though an RSVP is requested so organizers can plan trees and supplies. Come dressed for a warm Sonoran Desert morning in closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty, and bring a hat, sunscreen, and a full water bottle. Expect light physical work and a rewarding few hours giving back to the community. Sign up via the RSVP link.
