Phoenix Fall Senior Expo

The Phoenix Fall Senior Expo is a free community gathering for seniors and their families, held indoors at the Desert Botanical Garden. Presented by Swiss America, the expo runs rain or shine and even includes complimentary access to the botanical garden itself, so attendees can make a full outing of the day. Inside, dozens of local organizations and experts are on hand to answer questions across the full range of senior-life topics: Medicare coverage, assisted living, mobility solutions, independent living, veterans benefits, audiology, senior travel, health insurance, home care, medical equipment, hospice care, financial planning, legal assistance, home improvements for aging in place, eye care and physical therapy. It is a practical way to compare options and gather resources in one visit rather than chasing them down separately. Attendees can also take advantage of free health screenings and refreshments, and stick around for hourly prize drawings that feature a $200 Visa gift card among other prizes. Visitors may pre-register to be entered for prizes, though walk-in registration is available on the day; no purchase is necessary and winners are drawn randomly from all entries (exhibitors and venue staff excluded). Admission is completely free.
