About this event
The Brazos Valley Walk to End Alzheimer's takes place at the Lake Walk Town Center Pavilion in Bryan, gathering students, families, caregivers and community members from the Bryan-College Station area. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. with a festival area, the Promise Garden and an opening ceremony honoring those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias. Walkers then set off on an accessible route suitable for all ages and mobility levels. This is a free, public event; registration carries no fee and there is no fundraising minimum, but participants are encouraged to raise funds that power the Alzheimer's Association's local support programs, education, advocacy and research. Visit resource tables to learn about caregiver support groups, the free 24/7 helpline and dementia education. Come to remember a loved one, honor a survivor, or simply stand with your community.
