About this event
Town Green Park in The Woodlands hosts this popular Walk to End Alzheimer's, drawing families, care teams and neighbors from across Montgomery County. The event opens at 8:00 a.m. with a resource fair and the Promise Garden, followed by an emotional opening ceremony at 8:45 a.m. and the walk at 9:00 a.m. The lakeside route is flat and accessible so walkers of all ages and abilities can participate at their own pace. This free, public gathering celebrates those living with Alzheimer's and other dementias while raising funds for the Alzheimer's Association's care, support and research mission. Stop by the festival area to raise a colored Promise Flower, connect with support groups and caregiver programs, and learn about the free 24/7 helpline. Registration costs nothing and there is no fundraising minimum, though every contribution helps local families facing dementia.
