About this event
The Bay Area Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning tradition for the Clear Lake and Bay Area community south of Houston, based at On The Run in Clear Lake. The event offers a Kids 1K at 7:15 AM, a 10K at 7:30 AM, and a 5K at 7:40 AM, giving runners and walkers of all ages a way to get active before the holiday. It is a friendly, family-oriented event that welcomes both competitive runners and casual walkers along accessible neighborhood routes. Registration is paid, and signing up by late October helps guarantee your shirt size. Donations from the event benefit Cross Roads at Park Place, supporting a local community cause. With early start times, participants can finish and still make it home in time for Thanksgiving festivities. Expect a spirited, neighborly atmosphere and a healthy, feel-good way to launch the holiday weekend with family and friends.
