Irving Turkey Trot

Billed as one of DFW's favorite holiday running traditions, the Irving Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning at the Plaza at Toyota Music Factory in the Las Colinas Urban Center. Participants can choose a spirited 5K run/walk around the scenic waterfront district (starting at 9:15 AM) or a more challenging 8-mile run (starting at 9:00 AM). The early-in-the-day timing is designed to be family-friendly, letting participants finish in time for holiday gatherings. Registration includes professional race photos, a custom finisher's medal, a performance shirt, bag check, and food and beverage coupons for the post-race celebration at Toyota Music Factory. Because it is a timed event with amenities, there is a registration fee that rises closer to the date, so early sign-up is encouraged. Fundraising proceeds benefit the Irving Schools Foundation, supporting scholarships for Irving ISD students who volunteer at the event. Arrive at least an hour before your start time.
