NOLA Animal Clinic!
Hello, and thank you for your interest in our clinic! We’re happy to introduce ourselves and share a little bit about our history, our philosophy and our staff. And of course, we would love to hear from you! So if you have any questions, or if you’d rather just talk to us over the phone, give us a call at 504-241-6462.
Our DVM is Dr. Lily Rai. Dr. Lilajit “Lily” Rai was born in Georgia, but her family moved to New Orleans when she was four years old so she considers herself a New Orleanian. She knew from an early age that caring for animals was her life’s work. When the veterinary clinic that she brought her own animal to was for sale, Dr. Rai jumped in to action. After losing the clinic in Hurricane Katrina, Dr. Rai never questioned whether to rebuild, she did! When not tending to the clinic and her patients, Dr. Rai enjoys cooking, staying in shape, and riding her horse- Strawberry and Freshta. Dr. Rai is a graduate of Louisiana State University- 1983 and Louisiana State University Veterinary School- 1987. She is a member of AVMA, LVMA, SLVA, AQHA and FEW (Federally Employed Women.)
Our Philosophy:
As a primary care facility, we are committed to the health and well-being of the entire pet. People know about vaccinations, but awareness must be given to all facets, both internal and external, to have a healthy, happy, and enjoyable pet
