I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in Washington State with a background in existential phenomenology. I work primarily with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, loss of meaning, life transitions, relationship difficulties, trauma, and grief. My therapeutic approach is non-directive, client-centered, and grounded in compassion. While I bring a non-judgmental stance to our work, I am not a passive presence in the room. I believe in cultivating a real relationship—with real contact—which sometimes means exploring discomfort. I’ve found that some of the most meaningful growth often arises from those moments.
In our sessions, therapy will feel informal and conversational. Early on, I focus on building a trusting, open relationship—setting aside assumptions to better understand how you make sense of your world. As our work deepens, I’ll support you in clarifying your direction and stepping into responsibility and change on your terms. Therapy is a unique process for each person, and I approach our work with deep respect for that uniqueness. For some, therapy is short-term and focused; for others, it’s more open-ended and exploratory. In our first sessions, we’ll discuss your hopes and what a meaningful path forward might look like together.
