Now accepting new clients!
Helping parents show up for their families by prioritizing their relationship.
Real Talk: You and your partner are sick and tired of fighting all the time. And having kids in the picture has made everything that much more intense.
You have not been able to get on the same page. It’s gotten to the point where it consumes your conversations and the whole relationship. You remember being happy before, but now it’s constant fighting. You’re even fighting about things that seem tiny, like whose job it is to clean up or take care of the kids. It seems like a never-ending cycle. Even if you have some relief for a bit, it’s not lasting change. You’ve read all the books, talked to all your friends, maybe even seen other therapists, and nothing has truly helped. You’re finally ready for the fighting to stop and invest in a couples specialist that can help with your problem, not just someone who says they treat it all.
Real Talk: You and your partner are committed to the relationship and to understanding each other. You still love each other. You just need a how-to-guide to do it better.
You know it’s not as easy as convincing your partner to come over to “your side.” You’ve accepted that there isn’t a magical, overnight fix (trust that I’ve cried my tears about it, too!) You’re looking for couples therapy because you haven’t been able to compromise on your own, but you know it’s necessary because you can’t go on like this. You’re ready to do the hard work in couples therapy, especially because you understand that it sets your child(ren) and your family up for success.
Change, hope, peace, and happiness is possible and I can help!
As your couple’s therapist, my goal/priority is to eventually work myself out of a job. Most of the couples that work with me are in therapy for either an intensive weekend or up to an average of 4-6 months. They come in because they are having trouble agreeing on parenting differences, caught up in petty fight patterns and they leave knowing how to compromise and communicate without feeling like they lost, bent too much, or that their needs don’t matter.
Real Talk: You’ve been burned one too many times and want the credentials. You and your partner deserve the best. I feel ya!
