About this event

Held each year on the summer solstice, The Longest Day is the Alzheimer's Association's nationwide day of activity honoring people living with Alzheimer's and other dementias and the caregivers who support them. Participants and teams choose an activity they enjoy, such as a community walk, yoga session, bike ride, games tournament, or bake sale, and hold it on or near the longest day of the year to raise awareness and funds for dementia care, support, and research. Participation is free and flexible: you can organize your own small gathering, join someone else's activity, or take part on your own, and people of all ages are welcome. It's a meaningful, community-minded way to stand with families affected by dementia while doing something you love. Register, browse ideas, and find activities through the Alzheimer's Association website.
