About this event
The Belmont Shore Christmas Parade is one of Southern California's largest holiday parades, lighting up Long Beach's Second Street on the first Saturday of December. More than a dozen marching bands, around 100 entries, drum corps, and floats designed by local businesses and community groups roll along the route heading east from Quincy Avenue to Bayshore Avenue, joined by Santa Claus, elves, costumed characters and local personalities. The evening parade draws tens of thousands of spectators who line the sidewalks for a festive, free night of holiday spirit. No tickets or RSVP are needed; just find a spot along Second Street. Free parking is available at beach lots along Ocean Boulevard and Marine Stadium, and arriving early helps secure a good view. Bundle up and bring the whole family for this beloved community tradition.
