ZooLights at the Oregon Zoo

ZooLights transforms the Oregon Zoo into a glittering after-dark walk each winter, wrapping trees, buildings and animated sculptures in hundreds of thousands of lights. Visitors stroll the illuminated pathways, ride the light-decked zoo train (seasonal), and enjoy seasonal treats and hot drinks along the way, with many of the animals' habitats visible in the evening glow. It is a signature Portland holiday outing for families, running most nights from late November into early January. Tickets are timed-entry and should be bought in advance, especially on weekends when it sells out. Bundle up for the outdoor walk, arrive at your ticketed time, and use the MAX light rail or arrive early for parking in Washington Park.
