Golden Future Senior Expo — Bakersfield / Kern County Edition

The Bakersfield / Kern County edition of the Golden Future Senior Expo is California's premier lifestyle, health and aging expo, held at the Kern County Fairgrounds (Building 1) in Bakersfield. Framed around the idea that getting older should come with perks, it is a one-stop senior resource day drawing on more than 15 years of the organizer's experience. Attendees can explore 60-plus exhibitors and get expert guidance on the essentials of later life, from Medicare and health insurance to assisted living, home care, and financial and retirement planning, and take advantage of free health screenings. Educational seminars and workshops are available for those who want to go deeper. The day is also built for fun and connection, with bingo, live entertainment, arts and crafts, a "Livin' Life Lane" social hub, and complimentary haircuts, nail manicures and makeovers. Every attendee receives a free Golden Future tote bag, five of which hold hidden golden tickets worth a $100 gift card each, plus more than 20 additional door-prize opportunities throughout the morning. The event welcomes seniors, caregivers, family members, aging professionals and community members. Admission and parking are both completely free, and while pre-registration is encouraged, walk-ins are welcome.
