About this event
A long-running Wilmington riverfront race weekend offering a certified, fast, mostly flat 15K (a USATF championship event with $1,100 in prize money) and a companion 5K run/walk on the boardwalk and riverfront. Organized by the Pike Creek Valley Running Club, the event benefits Delaware Greenways, the trail-and-greenway nonprofit, in addition to supporting the running club. The 15K starts at 9:00 AM and the 5K at 9:05 AM from Hare's Pavilion. The flat, scenic riverfront course draws competitive distance runners for the 15K while the 5K welcomes casual runners and walkers. Registration is through RunSignUp, with fees increasing after September 30.
